Hotline Money is built as a run: one agent, a path choice on every step, 30 opponents and a boss. Below is how the run works and how to get it onto an Android phone.
Format note. 100HP built Hotline Money as an instant game played in steps. It runs on steps instead of reels and paylines, and the round advances when you pick a path.
Android comes first here. The other two cover the times when a handset is not the screen in front of you.

Several unrelated releases share part of this name. Hotline Money here always means the 100HP title.
They are listed in the order a round presents them.
On every step you choose attack path A or path B. A cleared step raises the multiplier, and a counter tracks opponents cleared out of 30.

After the thirtieth opponent the run ends in a boss encounter, which the splash screen names as the goal. A round can end on any step before it.

Autobet runs rounds at the stake you set and collects at a step you choose in advance; the client picks the path at random each time. Turbo shortens the animation. Both toggles sit beside the stake stepper and its quick-add chips.

Provably Fair describes a procedure you can carry out yourself. A round is committed before you play it, and the client hands you what confirms that afterwards.

Attack path A or path B. The choice comes back at every step of the run.
Each cleared step raises the multiplier and moves the counter towards 30/30. On Easy the first steps pay x1.04, x1.13, x1.24, x1.36 and x1.49.
Press withdraw on the step you named before starting, especially on rounds where stopping feels early.

| Android tablet | The same build on a wider canvas. | Suits a slower, more deliberate run. |
| iPhone and iPad | Play in the mobile browser, adding the game to the home screen if you want it nearer. | Identical controls to the Android app. |
| Desktop browser | The game in a window, with room for the fairness screen beside it. | The easiest place to do your first verification. |

What comes up between reading about a run and taking one.
One run, taken properly
Plan a short session with a fixed end. The Android app puts the game two taps from your home screen.
A round of Hotline Money is a sequence of small decisions, and it ends when you withdraw, when a step does not clear, or at the boss.
It begins on the pre-bet screen. You set the stake and choose Easy or Hard while the round is idle. The screen prints the maximum multiplier for each mode: x2031.63 on Easy and x54515.98 on Hard.
Then the agent advances. On every step you pick path A or B, a cleared step raises the multiplier, and a counter shows opponents cleared out of 30. Withdraw is live from step one.
The boss comes after the thirtieth opponent, so a run that reaches it has survived every step before.
The path choice comes at every step, and you make it yourself. The 100HP rules say the result of a round is generated randomly before it starts and does not depend on the player’s actions, so both letters carry the same weight.
What you can compare is the two risk modes. Hold the stake steady, play a few rounds on Easy and a few on Hard, and note the step at which you start wanting to stop. On Easy the first steps pay x1.04, x1.13, x1.24, x1.36 and x1.49. To find your own stopping step, play a few rounds in each mode.
Once you know that step, keep to it for a stretch of rounds before you change it.
Withdraw is the decision that settles what a round pays, and it is available from step one.
A run that has gone well feels like a run that will continue to go well. The interface shows the current multiplier and leaves the call to you.
A practical test: name a stopping step before the round, and lower the stake until you can.
Begin on the demo. It loads on this page, opens straight away, and gives you a fun balance of 10 000 at a default stake of 2 USD. A quarter of an hour answers most of what a new player wants to know.
Spend it rehearsing the exit. Stop at a different step in each round until pressing Withdraw feels ordinary.
Then move to a live round on the smallest stake available, in Easy mode. Keep Autobet for later, once you have a plan for it to repeat. Turbo is a pacing control, so switch it on when the animation feels slow and leave it off when you want more time to think. When the rehearsal is done, put Hotline Money on your Android home screen and take that first small round properly.
When you are ready for Autobet, open the Auto Play window, pick the collect step and the number of rounds, and start. The client picks the path at random on every step and collects at the step you chose. Stopping Auto Play pauses the round where it stands, so you can collect the reward or play on by hand.
Hotline Money plays its rounds as Provably Fair. The result is committed before you play and can be inspected once the round is over.
The client exposes three values for each completed round. The Round ID names it, the Salt is the seed material, the Hash is the fingerprint tying the two together.
Take all three into the provider verification tool once, on a round whose result means nothing to you. If the hash reconciles, the outcome existed before your first step and nothing you did during the run altered it.
Once is enough to see how the check works.
Deposit limits belong in the account, and the first visit is when to set them. A ceiling chosen before the first stake is easier to keep than one chosen after a poor hour.
The habit that keeps a session healthy is choosing your own stopping step each round. When a sitting reaches its planned end, close the app and come back another day.
The game is just as good tomorrow, so a short sitting is time well spent. Put the ceiling in the account, pick the step you will stop on, and only then start your first Android session.
